Ducal Palace
Only the patio has retained its Gothic style in this house where St Francis Borgia was born. Today, it is occupied by Jesuits and you can visit some of the sumptuously decorated apartments, several of which have been converted into chapels.

20C art collection. XX. Museo de La Asegurada
The museum of the Asegurada, set up in an 18C palace accommodates an interesting collection of modern paintings and sculptures. Works by Spanish artists such as Míro, Picasso, Gargallo, Tápies, Saura, Genovés, Chillida, Dalí are intermingled with works by Vasarely, Bacon, Braque, Chagall and Kandinsky. All gifted by the sculptor Esgebio SemPeter (1923-1985).

San Nicolás Cathedral
San Nicolas Cathedral was built at the start of the 17C. On the site of an old mosque. A harmonious cupola, in keeping with Herrerien classicism dominates the soberly proportioned nave.
