Contemporary Art Museum <!-- Museums isempty -->

«To mix art and industry» was an obsession with Jean Delaine, an engineer who created a superb modern art collection: Karel Appel, Arman, Sam Francis, Vieira da Silva, Andy Warhol, Joan Miro are all in this building, designed by the architect, Jean Willerval. Visit the jardin des sculptures with works by Dodeigne, structures in metal by Féraud and compositions by Arman. With a North Sea backcloth, the garden is beautiful! And the azobe? It is the African wood used for the entrance portico.

St Sepulchre's Church <!-- ReligiousBuildings isempty -->

This owes its name (a rare one, there are only seven churches in France with this name) to the participation of the men of St Malo on the Crusades. The doorway, a masterpiece of the joiner's art comes from St Bertin. In the chancel there are some attractive stained-glass windows from the 19C.

A remarkable collection of weapons, uniforms, interesting objects and documents evoking the occupation of Calais, the Battle of Britain and the Resistance movement.
