St Anne's Church <!-- ReligiousBuildings isempty -->

Manilva's 18C Iglesia de Santa Ana has an unusual doorway consisting of an arch with a whole series of blind arcades - the kind you often see on minarets.

Acinipo <!-- CivilAndHistoricArchitecture isempty -->

The ruins 19km north of Ronda are known locally as Ronda la Vieja. They stand on the old settlement of Acinipo, described by Pliny the Elder (AD 23-79), the Roman writer on natural history. Among the most impressive remains are the large 1C BC theatre, parts of a wall that was probably Phoenician, and circular dwellings dating back to the 8C BC.

The Vaults <!-- CivilAndHistoricArchitecture isempty -->

The strange octagonal building derives its name from its vaulted rooms. The place is in fact a thermal establishment dating from the 3C AD.

Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) <!-- CivilAndHistoricArchitecture isempty -->

Inside the town hall, a museum contains a collection of field tools and objects from agricultural life.
