Museum of Folk Traditions
The Museum of Folk Traditions is housed in the Nerándzis Aïvázis Mansion, built in the 17C. It is simpler and has less ornate decorations than later mansions, but the interior gives a good idea of the life of a wealthy Macedonian family in earlier times.

St Stephen's Church
The closed porch on two sides of Ágios Stéfanos (St Stephen's Church, 9C) is a late addition. It was probably a bishop's church on the evidence of the throne base in the apse. The vaulting of the lofty nave is painted with 12C frescoes, in particular the Nativity and Purification on the south wall. In the rest of the church and in the upper sections of the narthex the 9C frescoes have been preserved: the Last Judgement on the south wall and ceiling.

Anárgiri Varlaám Church
High above the lake, Ágii Anárgiri Varlaám, one of the largest churches in Kastoriá, was probably built in the 10C. It is dedicated to the physicians who practised medecine ''for no fee'' (anárgiros). The title is usually given to Saints Cosmas and Damian, but also applies to Saints Pantaléon and Hermolaos. The saints are portrayed in the porch. Most of the frescoes inside are from the 11C or 12C, but an earlier 10C layer is visible in some places.
