Parc de Procé
To the north-west of the city, this park has long views and undulating hills and is a lovely place for a walk. Rhododendrons, azalia and oaks make up the landscape... and you're allowed to walk on the grass!

Place Graslin
At the heart of the Graslin quartier, this square is home to the Grand Théâtre, with its Corinthian style, built in 1783, as well as the brasserie La Cigale, on the corner of Cours Cambronne, and has 1900 décor with lovely mosaics.

St-Nazaire to Brévin road bridge
3,356 m long, this bridge over the Loire, crosses it at a height of 61 m over the water. It provides access to the Vendée and the Charente.

Muséum d'Histoire naturelle
The old Hôtel de la Monnaie now houses a varied collection including sections devoted to ostelogy and conchyliology (lovely collection of seashells), as well as regional fauna. A vivarium has several reptiles and batrachians. The «science and nature» section is aimed specifically at schools.
