Vouraïkós Gorge
Descending from the heights of Mount Aroánia (2 340m), the River Vouraïkós has worn a deep channel through the rock creating a dark and narrow gorge, through which runs a picturesque narrow-gauge railway. The landscape is highly varied, with vineyards and orchards, cliffs riddled with caves, and meadows smelling of pine, oleander and wild oregano.
