Vallées de Cauterets
After taking the waters at Cauterets, continue along the D 920 and explore some of the superb countryside around this thermal resort. Beginning at the Lutour waterfall and its lovely valley, the Val de Jéret features a series of waterfalls, each one more impressive than the last. These lead to the breathtaking site of the Pont d'Espagne, which makes an excellent starting point for walks up to the stunning Lac de Gaube and the Marcadau Valley.

Parc Lawrence Quartier
The English discovered Pau in 1840 and the effect was extraordinary - Rue Montpensier (and Rues Raymond-Planté, O'Quin and Bargoin that cross it) are distinctly British in style with their eclectic villas. The same can also be said of Parc Lawrence (at the end of the street), with the Flemish style Villa Lawrence, neoclassical Villa Rigdway (RRRue Jean-Mermoz), and Anglo-Norman style Villa Beverly on Avenue Fouchet.
