Having travelled extensively in Spain, I can recommend a driving holiday in this country. The land is diverse - winding coastal routes with spectacular ocean scenery to near desert conditions in the heart of the country. having been a visitor to Spain many times in the past, although only to the cities and some of the typical holiday destinations, the car hir ejourney allowed us to see more of the country and experience more of the 'real Spain'. Highlights include the Andalucia - Seville is a spectacularly beautiful city and the mix os Spanish and Mororish is more pronounced here than anywhere. Galicia, and in particular, Santiago de Compostela - a World Heritage Site with fantastic monuments and cultural heritage and the Basque country to the North where the regeneration of Bilbao, complete with Guggenheim, and San Sebastian are to savour. - Rob Jones, Cardiff
