I can highly recommend Switzerland as a fly-drive destination or as a destination for caravanners or those keen on a ulti-stop tour of a country. I've done quite a few driving holidays throughout Europe but Switzerland sits at the top of the pile in terms of the places I've visitied and driven through. As you can imaging, meandering, mountainous roads can be a challenge, but driving in Switzerland does offer some stunning scenery that you just won't see elsewhere. It's also a very safe and pleasant place to drive with good standards of roads - most of which are relatively quiet outside of Geneva, Zurich and Berne, the roadsigns are clear and the drivers are very courteous. Drving in Switzerland is a pleasure and it's an interesting way to see more of the country. - Colin
