Museo Nacional de Arqueología Marítima
The museum contains objects founds in various underwater digs in the area and a fine collection of Phoenician, Punic and Roman amphora.

Huerto del Cura
Flowers and palm trees make up this flourishing garden. Here there are some fine specimens such as the Imperial palm tree that is more than 150 years with a trunk supporting seven branches. There is also a curious cactus garden.

Santa Bárbara Castle
Santa Bárbara castle played a lead role in the city's history. Its initial foundations are believed to have been laid around 200 BC. by Carthaginian Amilcar Barca. The castle has three main areas, the most recent dating from the 16 and 17C. The plaza de la Torreta, is surrounded by much older buildings including one accommodating the museo de Fogueres (bonfire museum). From the upper terrace, which is set beside the ruins of a keep, you have a panoramic view over the town.

Cathedral
The façade is a good example of the baroque style. The large belltower was completed in the 18C. The capilla de los Vélez is a fine late Gothic construction. In the museum, note the Saint Jerome of Salzillo.
