http://www.skicanada.org/ This is a pretty good site if you are planning a ski holiday in Canada. The interactive map allows you to search for resorts and slopes throughout Canada and plan your skiing or snowboarding holiday. Western Canada is a great ski location - probably the best and most widely known in North America. Whistler Blackcomb is the biggest and bets known resort in canada and provides great slopes as well as great nightlife, but there are a multitude of resorts dotted across BC and into Alberta. We usually recommend that friends do a fly drive holiday in Western Canada so that they can combine their skiing with a trip to Vancouver and take in some of the scenery along the way. The resorts are generally well connected by public transport, but shuttles can be expensive in peak time and if visitors are only in Western Canada for 2-3 weeks it is worth taking in some of the sights along the way, particularly if you are not a hard core skier or snowbaorder. - John Miller, UK
