Car Hire Corfu – Cities and Towns

Acharavi is a family-friendly seaside resort in the north of Corfu. It has a sandy beach, which stretches for 3km, and plenty of shops, bars and tavernas. You can also use a rental car to reach some of Corfu’s many beaches, which include the six beaches around the village of Paleokastrista, and Arilas Beach, which lies about 35km from Corfu Town.

There are a few things to bear in mind when on a car hire holiday in Corfu. You must drive on the right-hand side of the road and carry your driving licence, passport and vehicle documentation in your rental car.

Bear in mind that some roads in remote areas of the island aren’t likely to be well-maintained and are often narrow, so keep your speed down and drive carefully. The weather is often hot, so opt for a hire car with air-conditioning.
