Festive markets are a time-honoured tradition in Europe. There's nothing that quite says "Christmas" like a beautiful Christmas market complete with brightly coloured wooden huts selling traditional handcrafted wares, a vast lit up Christmas tree, a handmade nativity scene, carol singers, live performers and old fashioned fairground rides. All this alongside a glass of mulled wine and a piece of freshly baked gingerbread, and you will feel as though you have arrived in a true winter wonderland.
