Generally, most local suppliers have a minimum rental age of 21. Minimum and maximum rental ages and other restrictions vary by location and supplier and there may be supplementary charges for drivers under 25 and over 65.

To collect your vehicle you will need to take the following documents:
- A copy of your Rental Agreement/ Voucher,
- Valid, original driver's license for ALL NAMED drivers
Drivers must hold and produce at time of collection a full national driving licence from their country of residence for at least 1 year. Licence's issued overseas must be clearly identifiable as a driving licence, otherwise an International Driving Licence will be required as well.
Drivers holding a photo card British Licence are required to bring the paper part of the licence with them when collecting the vehicle.
Old-style paper licence's (which show endorsements) are valid until their expiry date.
It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that he/she has the appropriate driving licence; please check the Suppliers local T&C's for further confirmation.
- Photographic Identification
Acceptable forms of photo ID for EU residents are:
- A valid passport - an expired passport can be used up to a maximum of two years after expiry
- Valid photographic EU or Swiss national identity card
- Valid armed forces identity card
- Valid police warrant card/badge
- Valid photographic firearm certificate
- Valid Government-issued identity card
NB: Non EU residents must present a passport.
This must be in the principal drivers name and must have sufficient funds available to cover the deposit (for larger vehicles we recommend that you take 2 credit cards)
Deposit
All customers are required to leave a deposit to cover the collision damage waiver excess, theft waiver excess and fuel. To do so, a valid credit card in the name of the principal driver must be produced upon collection of the car as a form of deposit. You may be required to present two credit cards when renting certain higher vehicle groups (please refer to local Suppliers T&C's).
Your chosen supplier cannot allocate a vehicle to you without these documents or if we are unable to collect the deposit from your card and we will NOT provide you with a refund in such cases.
Photocopies, faxes or letters will not be accepted.

One way rentals can be booked online for most countries worldwide. On the home page of our website you can enter separate pick up and drop off locations (if this option does not present itself to you, then unfortunately one-way rentals are not available at this location).
One way rentals that start in one country and end in another country are not possible.
Please note, a one-way rental charge may be applicable. Please refer to the supplier's terms and conditions before completing your booking.

For your convenience and improved flexibility easyCar offers an enhanced Cancellation Option. For £9.99/€9.99 per rental, you can cancel your booking up to within 48 hours before the due pick up date and time. easyCar will issue a refund to the value of the booking, less non refundable charges.
All bookings cancelled less than 48 hours from the due pick up date and time are non refundable.
Non Refundable Charges
- Credit and Debit Card charges are non refundable
- Cancellation Option charges are non-refundable
If you have not chosen the Cancellation Option, and in the event of unforeseeable circumstances beyond your reasonable control, including:
- serious illness of the driver
- bereavement of an immediate family member or traveling party
- natural disaster
- acts or restraints of governments or public authorities
- war, riot, civil commotion or acts of terrorism
we may at our discretion, provide you with a refund of the rental cost, provided that you promptly advise us and furnish evidence of such event (an administration/credit card fee may apply)

For an additional daily rate you can reduce your excess exposure to nil with our Excess Waiver Insurance policy. You are covered up to £3,500 for any single incident or £5,000 for a series of incidents during any single vehicle rental agreement for the reimbursement of the excess applied by the car rental company.
Excess Waiver Insurance also covers you for any physical loss or damage to the Rental Vehicle for which You are responsible under the terms of the Vehicle Rental Agreement, including:
- Physical damage to windscreens, tyres, roof and under carriage;
- Fire;
- Theft;
- Vandalism;
- Towing costs relating to the loss or damage;
- Loss of use of the rental vehicle
Lock-Out:
In the event that You are unintentionally locked out of the Rental Vehicle, we will pay costs incurred up to a maximum of £100 to open the vehicle, without causing any further damage to the Rental Vehicle.
Vehicle Key Replacement:
We will pay You costs incurred up to a maximum of £300, for each and every claim, for replacing a lost or stolen Rental Vehicle key, including replacement locks and locksmith charges.

Important Note: All insurances are invalidated if the hirer or any other named driver knowingly lets an unauthorised person drive the car or invalidates the rental agreement. The rental company will recover full damages incurred while a car is being driven by an unauthorised driver or invalidates the rental agreement from the hirer’s credit card.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third party liability insurance and Theft protection are included in the booking cost and waives your financial liability to pay for any damage caused to the vehicle during the period of hire. Your liability is waived subject to the payment of an 'excess'.
- Any loss or damage recorded in the inspection report which will be issued at the end of your rental period up to the level of the Insurance Excess; or
- Any loss or damage recorded in the report which will be issued in the event of the theft of the vehicle or in the event of total loss of the vehicle to the level of the Insurance Excess
- If any traffic offence has been committed, your insurance is invalid
The cover will be indicated on your Rental Agreement.
