France is a beautiful country and you can explore it at your own pace in a rental car. If you want a beach holiday, head for the South of France and use your hire car to drive along the Côte d’Azur, stopping off at resorts such as Nice, Cannes, Antibes-Juan les Pins and St.Tropez.
Explore the French countryside by taking a driving tour of the vineyards of the Médoc region or by using your rental car to follow the Mimosa Trail, which stretches from the village of Bormes-les-Mimosa to the French perfume-manufacturing centre of Grasse. You can also drive to one of France’s ski resorts from airports in Geneva or Chambery, such as the neighbouring resorts of Val d’Isere and Tignes in L’Espace Killy, or the Ax Valley in the Pyrénées.
