The nearby Knott’s Berry Farm is a fantastic adventure land filled with roller coasters and thrill rides. Of course, it’s Disneyland that is Anaheim’s chief attraction. The very first family theme park in the world, it’s a magical, colourful and unforgettable place, with everything from light parades to water rides. You’ll need at least a couple of days in which to take in all the sights of the main Disneyland Resort, and that’s before you visit the new Downtown Disney area. This new district is filled with bars, restaurants, boutiques, souvenir shops and entertainment facilities for all ages. The huge World of Disney store has a massive selection of Disney merchandise that’s sure to keep the kids happy!
