Founded in 2002, Record Go is a reasonably new and small car hire brand when compared with companies like Sixt and Enterprise. Yet the Spanish rental company has established itself as a reliable brand with a fleet of over 10,000 vehicles. Although Record Go has just four branches, they are well located in some of Spain’s biggest tourist destinations.
Record Go Car Rental Age Requirements
How old do you have to be to rent a car from Record Go?
To rent a vehicle with Record Go, you must be a minimum of 21 years old and have held your licence for one full year. Young drivers under 25 are required to pay a young driver surcharge on top of the daily rental price. This costs €7 per day, with a minimum charge of €14 and a maximum of €84 per rental.
Senior drivers between the ages of 70-90 must also pay a similar fee of €24.82 per day up to a maximum of €247 per rental.
These fees will be quoted in your total rental price online but are only payable in person at the rental counter.

For your car rental pick up of your Record Go car you will need to bring the following things with you to the rental desk: driving licence, passport or equivalent document as proof of identity, booking voucher and a credit card in the main driver’s name.
